In Timișoara, Romania, the project took a digital approach to environmental awareness, integrating technology, teamwork, and interactive learning. In a world where climate change and pandemics reshape how people study and interact, the use of games, digital platforms, and creative tools offers new possibilities for education, engagement, and social responsibility.

The experience began with outdoor warm-up activities, setting the stage for a dynamic learning process. Participants then moved to the digital classroom and computer lab, where they were introduced to Canva and other digital platforms in a workshop led by computer science teachers and an expert from the University of West Timișoara. This session provided the foundation for designing visually compelling materials that could be used to promote environmental responsibility.

As the activities progressed, participants analyzed air and water pollution data collected before the mobility. Using this information, they created mind maps, videos, and promotional messages to raise awareness about environmental issues. These activities encouraged critical thinking and digital creativity, allowing students to explore how environmental data can be transformed into impactful visual storytelling.

In the next phase, participants designed quizzes, puzzles, and digital games centered on environmental protection. These interactive tools were made accessible to the wider public, ensuring that the project’s impact extended beyond the immediate participants. The process of creating these digital resources combined problem-solving with artistic expression, demonstrating how technology can be used to foster both knowledge and action.

The final stage of the mobility focused on sharing and disseminating the results. The materials produced during the workshops were prepared for publication in school magazines and online platforms, making them available to students, teachers, and community members. Through this process, the initiative encouraged further dialogue about local environmental challenges, inspiring others to propose their own solutions and become more engaged in climate action.

By integrating science, technology, and creativity, the activities in Timișoara showcased how digital tools can serve as powerful instruments for environmental education, helping young people connect data-driven insights with real-world impact.
